Coates Broughton Attwell Solicitors (also known by the abbreviation CBA Law) demerged in 2007 when Mr Attwell decided to leave the partnership.

Ross Coates & Stephen Broughton traded for many years as Ross Coates Solicitors before Mr Attwell joined the partnership and it became Coates, Broughton & Attwell Solicitors. After Mr Attwell left the partnership, Ross Coates & Stephen Broughton have continued to trade under the partnerships original name of Ross Coates Solicitors.
